Subject: Chinese New Year

Feb 14th is China's new year.   This is kind of like our version of Christmas to some degree.   Trees are decorated and red envelopes hang from the trees.  In the envelopes are money and they are usually reserved for the kids.  Feb 13th is Chinese New Year's eve so tons of people will be coming in and leaving to visit relatives.  Of course that is the day we leave so obviously the airports will be crowded.  Another family from Alabama that is here with us has to take the train to their connecting flight because they could not get a flight out of Guuangzou.
